The Crystal Reserve State Archaeological Site is comprised of a number of burial mounds and rock formations. A paved walkway meanders through the site and connects the archaeological section to a picnic area right on the river. I had a brief opportunity to get a shot of a bald eagle in the wild but unfortunately it flew off. The site is popular with the locals as I passed more than a few people out for their morning walk.
